VICE TV’s Tales From the Territories recently aired its fourth episode. The series, which is filmed in the vein of its Dark Side of the Ring series and assisted with production from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Brian Gewirtz, focused most recently on the CWF. The episode saw a rebound in numbers, according to Showbuzz Daily.
Last night’s episode focused on the CWF, or Championship Wrestling from Florida. Spearheaded by the Graham family, the promotion ran from 1961 to 1987. The episode from last night maintained a ratings number from the previous week, holding steady at 0.02. Viewership saw an increase, with viewers rising to 101,000 from the previous week’s 73,000. Last week’s episode focused on the Minneapolis-based AWA promotion, headed by Verne Gagne.
The numbers were still down from their high of two weeks ago, which garnered a rating of 0.04 and an audience of 111,000 viewers. The show ranked #149 among cable originals for the evening. The show was up against stiff competition thanks to NBA games, which led the way for the evening.
Overall, Tales from the Territories is averaging a 0.03 rating in the 18 to 49 demo, and an average viewership of 100,000 over its first four episodes.
