AEW’s Taz didn’t hold back when a fan claimed that Vince McMahon is living “rent-free” in the head of the former ECW World Champion.
On this week’s Raw, Kevin Owens parodied ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, donning a bald cap and entering the Allstate Arena to Austin’s music.
In a tweet, Taz noted that a similar segment had played out recently on AEW programming where Don Callis came out to Kenny Omega’s music.
When a fan pointed out that tricking fans with a theme goes back far earlier than AEW, Taz said he “would expect more from a company (WWE) with 76,000 writers.”
After taking a jab at WWE, a fan claimed that Vince McMahon lives rent-free in Taz’s head, and the AEW commentator didn’t hold back saying:
“Oh please get the f**k out of here dude! I’m just trying to have some fun with fans on here. Here is a history lesson, I quit their company. my choice…do the math. Very ridiculous statement by you. And I don’t need your disingenuous bullsh*t ‘all due respect’. Have a nice day!”
