Taz has been taking some heat from fans online recently after he made some comments earlier this week regarding Kevin Owens’ segment on RAW where he impersonated “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
Following Monday’s episode of RAW, the AEW announcer took to Twitter and directed some shots at WWE’s creative team for doing a segment that was very similar to what AEW did at Revolution where Don Callis came out using Kenny Omega’s entrance music.
Taz took to Twitter on Wednesday and tried to further explain what he was trying to say, insisting that he has “zero hate” for WWE and was simply giving his opinion. He said,
“Not about s**tting on anything, it’s about giving an opinion on my own social media than people make a story outta my opinion. Please tell me, teach me how storylines and storytelling works in the industry … please educate me sir.
This is wrestling Twitter if u r a wrestler/TV personality: You give your opinion people get mad. If you don’t give an opinion & don’t engage with your followers people get mad. If you get in a dispute w/your followers, then you’re told, “don’t feed the trolls”. Too funny!
