IMPACT Wrestling star Tessa Blanchard was recently a guest on “Busted Open Radio” to talk about her Slammiversary main event match with Sami Callihan.
Here are some of the highlights:
Believing she helped pro wrestling evolve once again: “I feel, honestly, like I was lost in the match and at the end, I was overcome with emotion. Even when I came to the back, emotion just came over me. It felt like we did something important.”
Not feeling out of place wrestling with the guys: “I trained with Cedric Alexander. I was in there with the guys seven days a week. Now to go out there and have matches regularly with the guys, I feel like it’s taken my level of intensity, aggression, timing, transitions, everything has been elevated because of that. I’m a huge proponent of it and I think there’s a way to do it.”
