Eric “Viktor” Thompson of The Ascension took to Twitter to react to his WWE release. He posted a GIF of Mel Gibson as William Wallace in Braveheart shouting “Freedom!”
As noted earlier, WWE confirmed the release of Eric “Viktor” Thompson and Ryan “Konnor” Parmeter earlier today. Sin Cara and Luke Harper have also been released.
The Ascension have not appeared on WWE television since April 2019.
