During Thursday night’s Impact Wrestling broadcast, we saw Josh Alexander go one-on-one with Ace Austin in the main event. At the conclusion of the match, former TNA/Impact Wrestling and AEW Superstar “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels made his return to the company by running down to ringside and making the save for Alexander from a post-match assault by Austin and Madman Fulton.
Daniels had left the company back in 2014 and went to ROH. He would go on to team with Frankie Kazarian in AEW until the May 14, 2021 episode of AEW Dynamite, losing an AEW Tag Team Championship match to The Young Bucks. This resulted in SCU being forced to split up. Daniels has not been seen on television since then.
