The first match for the WWE NXT 2.0: In Your House 2022 event is now official.
During Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT 2.0, Cameron Grimes announced that he will be defending his NXT North American Championship against Carmelo Hayes in a singles match on the show.
Grimes was able to capture the NXT North American Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver after defeating Hayes and others in a multi-man ladder match. He would then go on to defeat Hayes and Solo Sikoa in a Triple Threat Match on last week’s Spring Breakin’ themed episode of WWE NXT 2.0.
Grimes promised that he’ll face Hayes at WWE NXT 2.0: In Your House 2022 and will then go on to give Solo Sikoa the next shot.
As of this writing, the date for WWE NXT 2.0: In Your House hasn’t been announced.
