The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) are now free agents following the expiration of their Impact Wrestling contracts. A new report has details on where the pair may end up next.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the three-time IWGP tag team champions are expected to return to New Japan Pro Wrestling, especially since the promotion is more open to foreign wrestlers with the easement of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. This isn’t a huge surprise since Karl Anderson is the current NEVER Openweight Champion. Anderson won the title by defeating Tama Tonga at NJPW Dominion on June 2nd at Osaka-jo Hall.

The report would go on to state that WWE initially expressed interest in the pair about a potential return. Gallows and Anderson have been openly critical of the Fed since departing the company in 2020, but the door was always open for the duo to head back provided that the money was right. Their former NJPW stablemate Finn Balor has even gone so far as to say that he’s confident the tag team will show up once more in WWE.

The Good Brothers also appeared on AEW television alongside their real-life friends The Young Bucks while employed by Impact. The two promotions were working in a cross-promotional arrangement at the time, so it’s conceivable that AEW could make a play for the duo, as well.
