The Great Khali is a legend and an icon in India, therefore the fact that he’s now involved in politics is not a big surprise.
The former World Heavyweight Champion joined the largest political party of the country, the Bharatiya Janata Party which also sees the Prime Minister Nerendra Modi.
Khali commented that the current Prime Minister is the right one for India, which is why he’s glad to join the party. He had previously entered the world of politics in 2020 when he sided with the farmers to protest against some restrictive laws.
