As noted on Monday here on eWn, Matt Hardy promised to address the Jeff Hardy injury “rumors” during a segment on Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown! Live broadcast.
During the show, The Hardy Boyz came to the ring and announced that they would be relinquishing the SmackDown! Live Tag-Team Championships “effective immediately” due to Jeff Hardy suffering an injury at the hands of Lars Sullivan.
Jeff claimed that he is unable to walk on his own and has been getting around with the help of crutches. Sullivan then came out and destroyed them both. WWE tweeted the following video from the segment:
