While working a triple threat match at a WWE house show earlier this month, Carmella suffered an injury.
Fan video showed her entering the ring, falling over, and immediately removing herself from the match. She recently took to Twitter to note that she’s still recovering. Although not confirmed, it’s believed she suffered a concussion.
Carmella is expected to be back on the road for WWE next month, according to a report from Pwinsider. The report stated that her return is ‘within sight’.
She last wrestled on TV during the July 18 edition of WWE RAW where she unsuccessfully challenged for Bianca Belair’s RAW Women’s Championship.
