As many of you know by now, Matt Riddle and Jacob Fatu faced off against each other at the MLW ‘Kings of Colosseum’ event over the weekend. The two men have also been announced for the upcoming NJPW ‘Battle in the Valley’ event, which takes place on Saturday. At that show, Riddle will team with a mystery partner to face off against Zack Sabre Jr. and Bad Dude Tito. Meanwhile, Fatu will be teaming up with Fred Rosser and Shota Umino to face off against Tom Lawlor, Jorel Nelson, and Royce Isaacs.
According to a report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, the reason Fatu will be working the NJPW ‘Battle in the Valley’ event is due to a deal that was made with MLW. NJPW and MLW have started a working relationship.
Riddle will continue to work for both companies.
