As previously reported, there has been a push in WWE for Ronda Rousey to make a return for Saturday’s Royal Rumble. It was later reported that WWE does have plans for Rousey at WrestleMania.
Pwinsider.com reported today that at least one WWE official flew to California last week to meet with Rousey. Also, Rousey’s makeup artist and stylist, Abraham Esparza, is set to be at the pay-per-view and at Raw this Monday, which has been in the plans for several weeks.
Sources aware of the Royal Rumble plans stated that “it’s all on Rousey” as to whether or not she pulls the trigger on her return while WWE is ready for it and they want her for WrestleMania.
Rousey took time off after WrestleMania 35 in 2019 to start a family. She became pregnant last year and gave birth to her first child.
