According to a new report from Pwinsider, the defendants in the Britney Abrahams lawsuit against WWE have not been summoned yet.
Abrahams, who worked for the company as a writer from 2020 through 2022, filed a lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon over what she calls racist scripts. She also alleged that McMahon and other executives discriminated against her after she spoke out against “offensively racist and stereotypical jargon.”
The filing had not been updated as of May 2.
