The overnight ratings for Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown are in. This show featured a brief appearance from Vince McMahon following the announcement that he would be stepping down as WWE Chairman and CEO. The main event also featured Riddle vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed World Championship. Following the title match, Brock Lesnar returned as a surprise.
Based on the overnights, the show brought in 2.274 million viewers, with a 0.55 in the key 18-49 demo. The show drew 2.186 million viewers with a 0.5 demo for the first hour and 2.362 million viewers with a 0.6 demo for the second hour.
The final numbers won’t be out until Monday, but it looks like they’ll be somewhere in the 2.3 – 2.4 million range.
