The ratings for the second episode of Biography: WWE Legends indicate that the show may be on the right track.
The second episode of Biography: WWE Legends featured a special look at the career of Goldberg. The legendary superstar’s last match in WWE occurred in February at the Elimination Chamber event.
Last Sunday’s episode, which focused on The Undertaker, drew an average of 582,000 viewers. There was speculation on whether the first episode could potentially bring in more viewers for the coming weeks. Well, it appears that may be the case.
Numbers from Showbuzz Daily revealed that overall viewership for the show increased this week. The second episode drew 594,000 viewers while also showing an increase in the P18-49 key demo. While this isn’t a significant jump, it does show that viewers haven’t quite lost interest yet and have decided to remain on board. Biography finished at No. 11 in the overall Top 150 cable rankings.
As for Goldberg, the Hall of Famer recently confirmed that he’s still signed to WWE. He stated that he felt in better shape than when he last stepped foot in the ring. The legendary superstar also confirmed that he initially wasn’t booked to win the Universal Championship two years ago.
