Adam “Edge” Copeland was referred to as the “Rated R Superstar” during his AEW debut at the WrestleDream 2023 pay-per-view event. According to a report from Pwinsider, WWE abandoned their trademark on the term back in May of 2020.

With the trademark being abandoned, AEW and Copeland can use the term without running into issues with WWE’s legal team.

“sometimes you win em, sometimes you snap your wrist”

As of this writing, there is no word on how long he’ll be out of action.
