WWE Superstar Aleister Black did not appear on SmackDown this week after he interfered in last week’s WWE Intercontinental Championship match, attacking Big E. and inadvertently helping Apollo Crews retain his championship. According to Pwinsider, the decision was made to keep Black off TV so the feud would not be hot-shotted (rushed).
The idea is that WWE wants to let the storyline hang for a week and have a chance to slow it down. Black and Big E. were both backstage at SmackDown on Friday night.
