According to sources, the reason the entire roster was brought to the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view is so that Hulk Hogan could talk to them and apologize for his racist comments back in 2015. All of the RAW and SmackDown! main roster members were told that they needed to be at Extreme Rules “for a meeting”. That meeting was Hulk Hogan addressing them all at once.
It was announced on Sunday that Hogan was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame. He reportedly left the pay-per-view event halfway through and was not scheduled to appear on TV at any point. He is not backstage at RAW tonight and won’t be at tomorrow SmackDown! TV tapings either.
