The announced attendance at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL for the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view was 13,214 fans. According to Michael Cole, that was a legitimate sellout.
We reported over the weekend that several fans at WWE’s house show in Peoria, Illinois were upset due to there not being a women’s match on the show. Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss were advertised at one point but did not appear.
In an update on this, the female women’s wrestler’s were not at the WWE live event in Peoria because they were in Chicago, IL to rehearse their women’s Money in the Bank match.
Also, Braun Strowman was scheduled for the Peoria, IL live event and was locally advertised, but he did not appear either.
