It was reported a few days ago that Mick Foley was expected to take time off to get his hip fixed. He wanted to take this week off, so he could be with his family during the Holiday season and get his surgery dates lined up. On Sunday, Foley was near the PPG Paints Arena doing charity work for Connor’s cure, which is why WWE called him in to work the Roadblock PPV.
Ringsidenews reports that WWE called Foley into work for last night’s Monday Night Raw because Stephanie McMahon was incapable of working the show and believed they needed at least one of the authority figures to be present at the show.
