The Bloodline have dominated WWE for quite a while. The Usos defeated RK-Bro to become the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, and Roman Reigns cemented himself as Undisputed World Champion at WrestleMania 38. While this certainly boosts their credibility to the moon, one WWE legend believes that it also gives them enormous heel heat heading into big matches.
Speaking on the latest edition of his “Oh You Didn’t Know” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg stated that The Bloodline holding all the titles is something he’s into because it adds “so much heat” to the trio. Reigns has been doing stellar work since turning heel and aligning himself with Paul Heyman. His promos have improved, and his mannerisms, both in segments and while wrestling, help add to his tribal chief persona. Although Road Dogg is into the trio, he wonders whether the type of heat they are getting makes the audience tune in or change the channel. He said,
“We will see if it’s turn the channel heat or just screw you heat,” Road Dogg said. “I notice they sell a lot of t-shirts too, so I am not the only one thinking they’re cool.”
As for Reigns, he’s scheduled to defend his titles against Riddle this Friday on SmackDown. Heyman revealed on last night’s RAW that if Riddle loses, he’ll never be able to challenge for the titles as long as Reigns remains champion.
