As noted, the official trailer for the new Fast & Furious movie, which is now called The Fate of the Furious, was released this week and had the biggest debut ever with 139 million views in its first 24 hours. The Rock, who stars in the movie, posted the following on Instagram:
“Cool stuff. You made our #FateOfTheFurious trailer debut the highest watched trailer of all time within a 24hr period. 139 million views.
We also apparently broke a record of heart rates around the world spiked in women and men every time my face came on screen. Universal is still confirming the “Rock algorithm” on that one.
