The Rock & John Cena Boost WWE SmackDown Ratings, Cena Set For Crown Jewel, Triple H

Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown featured the return of John Cena, as well as a surprise appearance from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

The Rock and Cena helped increase the SmackDown viewership and the key 18-49 rating from the week before.

WWE SmackDown had 2.445 million viewers, up 24% from last week’s preliminary number of 1.969 million viewers. The final audience for the previous show was 2.094 million.

In the 18-49 key demographic, WWE SmackDown had 834,000 viewers, up 36% from last week’s preliminary 0.47. The final rating last week was 0.53.

The final WWE SmackDown ratings will be out on Monday.

A new promotional video for Riyadh Season 2023 mentioning the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event notes that John Cena will be part of the Saudi Arabian show.

WWE has yet to announce any talent or matches for the November 4th event.

During the latest episode of Showtime’s hit series Billions, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque made a cameo to help Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti).
