Montez Ford’s appearance on Ryan Satin’s Out Of Character podcast caught the attention of The Rock, who had high praise for The Street Profits member and touted him as a future world champion.
Ford explained how The Rock inspired him in the podcast: “The Rock, I was already hooked. I remember in school, I use to write my Ks like how he would sign his name. Everything to a tee. Style, dress, electrifying – everything he says he is. Just how he is as a person as well, man. A huge inspiration to myself, my family, getting us through so many hard and rough times of stuff going through personally. That’s why I hold true and dear the Rock to my heart in a lot of ways.”
The Rock showed the clip of Ford’s comments in an Instagram post, in which he thanked him and praised him. The Rock highlighted the passion and motivation that Montez Ford has and said he will cheer for him in his quest to become a world champion.
