Backstage at WWE Smackdown should be a reuniting of many old friends as PWInsider reports that The Undertaker, Michelle McCool, Maryse, and Mark Henry are all backstage at tonight’s tapings.
Maryse and Mark Henry both arrived at the arena earlier today and took place in WWE’s Tribute To The Troops taping, while The Phenom and McCool arrived later. It is unlikely that any of these names will take part in the show tonight, but it’s worth noting the presence of ‘Taker.
Lastly, WWE announced on RAW that the freak of nature, Lars Sullivan has been called up to the main roster. Although they have not announced which show he will be joining, Dave Meltzer claims that Lars is probably going to RAW.
“Knowing what I know about this company, the big guy is going to RAW. Honest to god, I think that’s where [he] should end up. Because I hesitate to say this, but based on what they’re doing with the video packages and that sort of thing, I don’t think they’re going to screw up Lars.”
Obviously, Dave Meltzer has big expectations for NXT’s mountain of a man and rumor has it that Vince loves him. Sullivan is scheduled to make his decision during the WWE Royal Rumble PPV event.
