The Undertaker has claimed that his feud with Kane is the greatest story ever told in wrestling.
The Brothers of Destruction first met on WWF TV at In Your House: Bad Blood 1997 when Kane cost the Phenom in the very first Hell in a Cell match.
Speaking at the NASCAR Cup Series race in Austin, Undertaker was asked about the best rivalries from his career and said his wars with Kane is the greatest in all of wrestling:
“Kane [feud] is probably the greatest story ever told in wrestling…It was just I think a storyline that people, whether you were a wrestling fan or you weren’t, you understood just because of sibling rivalries. I think people identified with that. Kane was always such a physically dominant athlete that he always brought the best out of me, so I’m gonna go with the Brothers of Destruction.”
The Deadman would defeat his brother in their first match at WrestleMania 14 and would do the same at WrestleMania 20 in 2004.
The Undertaker will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame later this week.
