The Usos Set A New Record For The SmackDown Tag Team Championships

On last night’s episode of SmackDown, WWE acknowledged The Usos setting a new record as longest reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions of all time.

The duo set the new record earlier this week, reaching 188 days with the belts. The previous record however was already theirs, as The Usos reigned for 182 days between 2017 and 2018 before losing the belts to Luke Harper and Rowan at WrestleMania 34 in a match that also involved The New Day.

Together with The New Day, The Usos dominated the young history of the blue brand’s set of tag team titles, as they also hold the record for combined days as champion with 567. The New Day still have more reigns, with seven.
