The Wrestling World Reacts To The Release Of Bray Wyatt

As reported here on eWN, Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) was released by WWE on Saturday after 12 years with the company. In the time since the news broke, various wrestlers from within WWE and beyond have reacted to the news of his release.

His former Wyatt Family stablemate Braun Strowman (Adam Scherr) stated that, “Brother I’m waiting!!!!!!”

Meanwhile, Alexa Bliss tweeted out her support. However, she has since had to make her Twitter account private after receiving unjust abuse in the fallout from Wyatt’s release. She tweeted, “I really am at a loss for words… thank you so much Windham for everything you’ve done for this company. The most fun I’ve had is working with you. Such an amazing talent & the most kind person. I’m just in shock.”

Mickie James would lambast WWE in her tweet of support for Wyatt.

“I think what you meant to say was “Thank you so much for coming up with such an incredible gimmick (time & time again) one so cool & over, we really didn’t know how to book it right. So we can just gave it to someone else so we can still make ALL the money off of it & let you go”

His former RAW Tag Team Champions partner, and current AEW star Matt Hardy tweeted out a gif of the pair hugging.

Bray Wyatt was a member of the WWE roster for 12 years, first debuting in NXT as Husky Harris. The Wyatt character first appeared in mid-2012. You can check out all these reactions and more below:

We wish Bray Wyatt all the best after his WWE release.
