The ratings for the second edition of “WWE Backstage” are in and they were down big time from the debut episode of the show. Of course, WWE had been hyping a “blockbuster” draft announcement for the debut episode. That turned out to be Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross heading to SmackDown! in exchange for “some future RAW picks down the line.” Anyways, the show drew a 0.14 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic, with 426,000 viewers. Those numbers are down 30% and 29% from the 0.2 demo rating, with 597,000 that the debut episode drew.
Of course, this week’s SmackDown! Live broadcast aired on FS1 and not the main FOX channel. The ratings for SmackDown on FS1 came in at a very low 888,000 viewers, an all-time low for the show.
WWE Backstage ranked #42 among cable originals for the night.
