Cesaro defeated Apollo Crews prior to the SmackDown TV tapings on Friday night. Cesaro hit Crews with a thumb to the eye followed by the Neutralizer.
Following the WWE SmackDown and 205 Live TV tapings on Friday night, there were two dark matches that took place. In the first, Roman Reigns defeated King Baron Corbin in a one-on-one match.
WWE Universal Champion The Fiend Bray Wyatt then defeated Daniel Bryan. Wyatt defeated Bryan with a Sister Abigail.
