As we reported earlier here on eWn, Thunder Rosa has agreed to forfeit her AEW Women’s Championship while she continues to deal with an apparent back injury.

In a segment that aired on Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Renee Paquette announced that Jamie Hayter was being named the Undisputed AEW Women’s World Champion.

After the announcement was made, Thunder Rosa took to Twitter to thank the fans. She wrote,

“Thank you #ThunderArmy for all the support and @aew for being there for me. Dream-like moments happened in this run, and this is not how I wanted to lose the championship, but you deserve a present champion; on to the next chapter.”
