The Motor City Machine Guns are one of the most innovative tag teams, ever. Their revolutionary style changed tag team wrestling in the 21st Century and their list of accomplishments and accolades run long and deep. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin captured the one tag team championship that eluded them, the ROH World Tag Team Championships, at Death Before Dishonor and went on to successfully defend their championships against War Machine, Best Friends, The Young Bucks, Silas Young and Beer City Bruiser, the Kingdom, the Dawgs, and more.
They were fighting champions until they ran into perhaps the greatest tag team in ROH history, The Briscoes! Jay and Mark Briscoe won their record-setting ninth ROH World Tag Team Championships when they defeated the Guns in Las Vegas at 16th Anniversary. It was only the fourth time these two great teams met – and the Briscoes, after they retained the World Tag Team Championships at Supercard of Honor, will defend the titles in a rematch against the Motor City Machine Guns!

The Briscoes emerged victorious at Supercard of Honor, defeating the dream team of Jay Lethal and Hiroshi Tanahashi, two of the greatest World Champions of all-time. Now, Jay and Mark will head to West Palm Beach to face the Sabin and Shelley for just the fifth time. The Briscoes hold the lifetime advantage at 3 wins to 1, including their two most recent bouts but may have benefited in their last bout from injuring both Sabin and Shelley by executing Jay Drillers on chairs to each athlete before the bout.
The Briscoes made this personal earlier this year when they turned a great series turned into a blood feud. We now know after Supercard of Honor that the Machine Guns get their opportunity for revenge and we will know who ends the month of April ROH World Tag Team Champions when the Motor City Machine Guns challenge the Briscoes at Bound by Honor in West Palm Beach!
