TKO Stock Price Drops After WWE-NBCU Deal, Moss-Aliyah-Benjamin Confirm Their WWE Exit

WWE SmackDown will return to the USA Network in October 2024 as part of a new five-year deal between NBCUniversal and WWE. The deal also includes four primetime quarterly specials on NBC.

The news resulted in a stock price drop for TKO Group Holdings. As of right now, the price is at $85.97 per share. This is a drop of about 18% from when it opened today at $100.87.

WWE has released several talents today, including Riddick Moss, Aliyah, and Shelton Benjamin.

Moss, Aliyah, and Benjamin took to Twitter to address their departures from the company.

Moss wrote, Well I did it – I graduated from WWE. I know a lot of people think my career really took a downturn once Mr. Levesque took over, but, in actuality, my per match fee skyrocketed through the roof. Other promoters, get ready to back the brinks truck up.

Aliyah wrote, “As of today I am no longer apart of WWE.”

And finally, Benjamin tweeted, “I have been released from my wwe contract. I thank @wwe staff , talent, and of course the fans for Everything. Something ends, something new Begins. Looking forward to my next Chapter.”
