Jeff Cobb sparked speculation about his future with a recent social media post, but he is still reportedly on his way to WWE.
Earlier this week, the former NJPW star took to Twitter, writing, “16 years is a long time to work, Happy Retirement to me… I’ll let the waves take me to my next destination.” The cryptic message led some fans to question whether he was truly joining WWE as previously reported.
However, Fightful Select has reaffirmed that Cobb is indeed headed to WWE. While it remains unclear which brand he will join, the report describes his contract as a “good deal.”
Cobb officially wrapped up his time with NJPW on April 18.
