During a recent appearance on “The Ringer” podcast, Ethan Page revealed that when he worked for Impact Wrestling, he suggested that the company return to the TNA branding.

However, it did not happen while Page was there, and he later left for AEW.

Impact Wrestling was rebranded as TNA Wrestling last year at Hard To Kill 2024.

Page said, “I could personally care less, for me. As a fan, I love it. I love it because I was a fan of TNA. When I was in IMPACT, I was petitioning to change it to TNA and everyone was like, ‘We’re never doing that. TNA has too much stink on it. We’re never doing that.’ Now look. Everybody can kiss my a*s, they’re doing great. TNA is back, baby. I’m very happy about that, as a fan. Total Nonstop Action, loved it. To see the partnership is amazing. To think it would have been possible, hell no. I got in trouble for saying TNA while I was in IMPACT. I never thought TNA would come back, never mind TNA teaming up with WWE. That is bonkers.”

During a recent appearance on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, former NXT World Champion Ethan Page discussed his growth in WWE.

Page left AEW for WWE last year.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On his growth in WWE NXT: “I’ve noticed so much improvement with myself, and that is all on the coaching, the motivation, them just finding a way to make the best version of Ethan Page, and I guess my willingness to listen. So, it’s just a combination of both. And then you have talent that believed in themselves but maybe weren’t given the opportunity, and this is the place that’s chosen, very thankfully, to give me this opportunity. So, you have me not wanting to waste this chance, and the company also not wanting to waste the talent.”

On the NXT roster: “For me, personally, I think that’s why things are working out well, and if other people in the company are doing the same thing, you got a bunch of winners on the team, and that’s great.”
