During a recent appearance on the “Muscle Memory” podcast, TNA International Champion Steve Maclin discussed potential opponents he would like to defend his title against, particularly mentioning Eddie Edwards. He said,
“With Rhode Island just being announced and not too far away from Boston, I would love to have Eddie Edwards step up and challenge me for the International Title. That’s a matchup that I’ve been looking forward to. I know we got to get our hands on each other in a Triple Threat with him and Ace Austin at the Unbreakable pay-per-view. But to have a one-on-one with Eddie and have that luxury of a little bit of time out there with the title on the line is something that I would love to do.”
Joe Coffey is hinting at his future following AEW’s announcement of shows in Glasgow on August 20, which include Dynamite and Collision.
Coffey is currently a free agent after being released from WWE in May, where he had been since 2018, along with his Gallus teammates Mark Coffey and Wolfgang.
During a recent appearance on the “Refin’ It Up” podcast, Coffey said,
“AEW have a show in my hometown in Glasgow on August 20th, which is very interesting, and The Hydro, the same arena that ICW ran so, that’s very interesting…”
