Matt Hardy believes that Malakai Black could return to WWE in the near future as questions remain about his status with All Elite Wrestling.
Black has not been seen in AEW since last November’s Full Gear pay-per-view event, though others in the House of Black are still on TV.
On a recent edition of his “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy” podcast, Matt Hardy discussed the ongoing speculation that Black could return to WWE. He said,
“Extremely talented individual. Very unique, he’s a niche performer which really stands out. That would not shock me at all. That would not surprise me at all. I feel like probably because of Malakai Black and him being the leader, I feel like the House Of Black has had a very strange relationship all through AEW while they’ve worked there. It’s been very off and on, right? Him showing back up in WWE, that’s certainly not out of the realm of possibility.”
It has been reported that WWE higher-ups have shown interest in bringing Black back, potentially as a top name on the roster.
Brody King recently trademarked a term for ‘Hounds of Hell’ which fans believe is a new name for the House of Black without Malakai.
