MVP was part of TNA Wrestling for several years, but despite being introduced as a key player in the company, never became TNA World Champion.

On a recent edition of his “Marking Out” podcast, MVP reflected on his TNA run and why he parted ways with the company. He said,

“I left Impact under terrible circumstances Some really bulls*** with management, one person in particular.”

MVP was introduced as an investor in TNA in January 2014, with his first move after being introduced being to bring The Wolves to the company.

He would turn heel in May by attacking then World Champion Eric Young and would form the Beat Down Clan in January the following year.

Today, MVP is a part of AEW and is part of the Hurt Syndicate alongside MJF, Shelton Benjamin, and fellow TNA alum Bobby Lashley.
