Report – Scott D’Amore Is Being Paid By TNA Through Early 2025

It seems unlikely that Scott D’Amore will be working for another major wrestling company in the near future.

As we previously reported here on eWn, Anthem terminated D’Amore’s contract back in February. While there has been a lot of speculation about D’Amore potentially working for another company, Rhino recently revealed that his former boss is being paid by the company through next February.

Speaking during a recent K&S Wrestlefest signing, Rhino said, “I read online [AEW] should get Scott D’Amore to run Ring of Honor. It would ease the burden on some of the talent but, Scott’s at home getting paid for…I think until next February, and he’s never not worked, you know? Or never gotten paid to not work.”

Pwinsider is reporting that Rhino’s comments are accurate, and that D’Amore is believed to have a non-compete clause preventing him from working for a national wrestling promotion in the United States or Canada through February 2025.

With that being said, D’Amore’s Border City Wrestling promotion will have its first event since his exit from TNA this coming weekend.
