Alan Angels, formerly of AEW and most recently TNA Wrestling, is now officially a free agent.
A fan recently reached out to ask about Angels’ status with TNA, citing his noticeable absence from TV. While he’s still listed on TNA’s official roster, it’s been nearly six months since his last appearance on the promotion’s programming.
Fightful Select is reporting that Angels’ contract with TNA quietly expired in December, effectively marking his departure despite the lingering roster listing. He has not been under contract since the end of 2024.
Since exiting TNA, Angels has remained active on the independent scene, appearing for promotions such as West Coast Pro, Wrestling REVOLVER, and Prestige Wrestling. It is said that his departure from TNA was mutual and amicable.
Angels first rose to national prominence during his time with AEW as a member of the Dark Order before transitioning to TNA.
