AEW TNT Champion Wardlow has revealed that a huge six-man tag team match would be his dream bout in the company.
Wardlow captured the AEW TNT Title from Scorpio Sky on last week’s Dynamite in a Street Fight.
While on “TWC Show“, Wardlow spoke about his name being compared to Jeff Hardy, as they both use the Swanton Bomb.
“Everybody assumes [Jeff Hardy] is a dream opponent of mine, and yes, that would be cool. I would love to wrestle Jeff Hardy, but more so than wrestle, I want to team with Jeff Hardy.
“If I could do a six-man and just be Team Xtreme for one night, myself, Matt, and Jeff, I think that would be the ultimate dream more so than actually wrestling him.”
Wardlow’s dream match looks uncertain given that Jeff has been suspended without pay from AEW.
Hardy was suspended following being arrested and charged with a DUI, his third in under a decade.
AEW President Tony Khan has called this Hardy’s last chance.
