1972: Mr. Fuji & Professor Tanaka defeated Sonny King & Chief Jay Strongbow to win the WWWF Tag Team Titles.

1998: Sabu & Rob Van Dam defeated Chris Candido & Lance Storm to win the ECW Tag Team Titles.

1999: WWF King of the Ring was held in Greensboro, North Carolina. The main event saw Vince & Shane McMahon defeated Steve Austin in a Handicap Ladder Match to regain control of the WWF.

2000: Steve Blackman defeated Crash Holly to win the WWF Hardcore Title on Smackdown. 

2002: John Cena made his WWE television debut on WWE Smackdown.

2002: Bret Hart suffered a stroke when he fell off a bicycle.

2004: WWE’s The Great American Bash was held at the Norfolk Scope, in Norfolk, Virginia. With an attendance of 6,500 to see The Undertaker defeats The Dudleys in a Concrete Crypt Match.

2009: Former WWE star Shawn Daivari signs with TNA.
