Tom Phillips is gone from WWE as Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com reported the departure of the announcer on Thursday.
WWE has yet to confirm the news. This comes at a time where WWE has been releasing wrestlers, referees, and staff members.
He is the latest person to be let go by WWE after the company has let go of wrestlers, referees, and staff members.
Phillips started working for WWE in 2012 and during his tenure, has done announcing work for all of WWE’s shows. Phillips was the lead play-by-play announcer for Raw from January 2020 through this past April when he was replaced by Adnan Virk.
