Former WWE announcer Tom Phillips took to Twitter today, announcing that he’ll be talking about his release from WWE tomorrow.
Phillips will be appearing on Richard Deitsch’s Sports Media podcast tomorrow. According to Deitsch, Phillips will be commenting on “exiting [WWE], the challenges of calling WWE wrestling & what he hopes to do next.”
As previously reported here on eWn, Phillips’ release from WWE last week was unrelated to the staff cuts that also took place. With that being said, the exact reason for his departure is still unknown but he’ll more than likely be revealing that tomorrow.
