It looks like NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa isn’t too pleased with a recent post from WWE NXT’s Twitter page. The page posted a photo asking fans who poses a bigger threat to Aleister Black – Ciampa or Johnny Gargano. Ciampa responded with the following:
“Umm…I’m The Champ…what the hell does Aleister Black have that I want? Fairly certain the question should be rephrased: Who poses a bigger threat to The Champ? Answer: Neither. The Champ already beat both.”

Currently, Ciampa is set to defend his NXT Title against Black at NXT TakeOver: Phoenix. The show will air live on the WWE Network, and more matches are expected to be announced for the card in the next few weeks. TakeOver: Phoenix goes down from the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, January 26, 2019.
Next week on NXT TV, Gargano and Black will meet inside of a Steel Cage. The rivalry between the trio has been brewing on NXT for the past several months and has developed quite nicely.
