Australian wrestling sensation Toni Storm has confirmed that she has signed with WWE and is expected to have a big roll on the WWE NXT UK Women’s Division. In an interview with Mirror, Storm revealed that she still can’t believe that she’s made it to WWE, even after competing in the Mae Young Classic last year.

“It’s just strange because I feel like my brain still hasn’t let it sink in yet that I am associated with WWE. I have strived for it for so long and dreamt of getting into WWE from being a kid and I have never let it go. It’s completely surreal, a lot of the time I kind of don’t even think i have got there.”

She also revealed during the interview that she has started feeling immense amounts of nerve before her matches as she strives to be better every day.

“It is strange because you think the more you do something, the more comfortable it gets. But for me, it gets worse with every match if I am honest! The pressure grows more and more to strive and be better. It helps me though, to push myself to be better. The saying goes ‘the moment you stop getting nervous is the day you should quit’.”

Secondly, former Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair starred in an interview for Busted Open Radio where she revealed that she thinks she works far better as a heel than a face.

“I feel like I’ve learned so much as a good guy, and I feel like if I ever get to go bad again, I could be ten times the performer. Now I know specifically what the other side needs. If I could go back and redo all of my matches with Sasha [Banks], because I feel like she was ahead of me mentally in the game—I still had a lot to learn—if I could go back and redo my first year, I would redo it in a heartbeat. There’s so many things I would have changed and done better.”

I would have to agree with Charlotte that she worked a bit better as a heel, but still, the Queen is a sight to see every Tuesday night.
