— Lion Forge Comics has announced the release details of the new
comic book series featuring Chavo Guerrero. The series, entitled Warrior’s
Creed, follows Chavo as a hero who sets out to fight an evil criminal
organization.
The comic series is written by Fabian Nicieza and is penciled by
Eddie Nunez. Shannon Eric Denton is serving as editor for the series. In the
comic, a sinister organization called The Voltan Initiative looks to create an
army of super criminals using a secret from the DNA of the Guerrero family. The
same secret, if unlocked, will also grant Chavo super powers. Chavo must use
these powers to stop the Voltan Initiative.
The comic will be available this fall through the Amazon Kindle
Bookstore and the Comic Plus app for iOS and Android Devices. The comic will
then see a print release through IDW Publishing.
