Tony Khan Addresses Exploding Botch During Latest Impact Ad

During this week’s edition of Impact Wrestling, AEW President Tony Khan took a moment to talk about the explosion botch that took place on Sunday’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view event, which ended in controversy and made the organization look bush league (unfortunately).

Both Khan and Tony Schiavone broke down what happened at AEW Revolution and sold the fact that Revolution did a huge buyrate number. Khan then went into detail, saying the lackluster exploding ring during the Jon Moxley/Kenny Omega match was extremely bad. He said that Omega is “terrible at building exploding rings” and that Eddie Kingston is also a great friend to Moxley for having his back.

Here is the current lineup for Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite:

* The Inner Circle’s War Council
* Matt Jackson vs. Rey Fenix
* Britt Baker, Maki Itoh, & Nyla Rose vs. Hikaru Shida, Ryo Mizunami, & Thunder Rosa
* TNT Championship Match: Darby Allin vs. Scorpio Sky
* Christian Cage speaks
