We reported on Thursday here on eWn that AEW’s lead video engineer, Brian Muster, suddenly passed away on Wednesday.
As this week’s live episode of AEW Rampage came to an end, All Elite Wrestling paid tribute to Muster with a graphic and statement.
Following the Rampage TV tapings, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, Tony Khan, and Wardlow came out to the ringside area. Khan congratulated Orange Cassidy on his win. Wardlow then spoke about how special Daily’s Place is because it’s “home” to AEW.
Moxley would then chime in, sharing some memories, both good and bad from the venue. “Mox” would go on to introduce several different people who work for the company backstage and wanted them to introduce themselves. He said AEW has had a tough week and commented on Muster’s passing, calling him a “dear member of the AEW family.” Moxley asked the fans in attendance to give the staff and crew a round of applause. This was followed by an “In Memorium” graphic being featured on the big screen.
AEW President Tony Khan ended the post-show segment, saying Muster was a huge part of AEW from the first day. He asked the crowd to chant Muster’s name as the TV tapings came to an end.
There is currently a GoFundMe set up for Muster’s family. You can donate by clicking here.
